On the morning of January 19, 2023, amidst the excitement of welcoming the new year 2024, Taiyo Group solemnly held its 2023 Year-End Summary Conference and presented the production and business plan for 2024.
The year-end summary ceremony is an annual event organized by member companies of Taiyo Group. 2023 became a special summary ceremony as the entire Taiyo Group joined together to organize, report, and share the achievements attained over the past year. At the same time, this was an important occasion for the Board of Directors to honor and commend the outstanding contributions of collectives and individuals throughout 2023.
The ceremony was attended by the Board of Directors and all staff of Taiyo Group. Opening the ceremony, Mr. Pham Tien Dung – General Director of Hai Long Construction JSC delivered a speech, reporting the 2023 production and business results, and outlining the plan for 2024. Accordingly, 2023 was a successful year for Hai Long Construction with breakthrough results. Specifically, 2023 revenue reached 2,654 billion VND, a figure that increased 3 times compared to the pandemic year of 2022 and 2 times compared to the 2022 plan. In addition, the Company also achieved certain successes in the categories of steel structure manufacturing, purlin production, office leasing, etc., with extremely impressive figures.
These noteworthy results are due to the tireless efforts of the entire staff, who have continuously accompanied and stayed with Hai Long, even during the most difficult periods, helping the Company achieve the success it has today.
G18 Construction Equipment JSC also had a successful 2023 despite business conditions being affected by market fluctuations, reaching 70% of the set revenue, while completing business targets and having research and development strategies for rental product categories, effectively seizing opportunities for further breakthroughs in 2024.
TaiyoTourist had a successful year by continuously putting into operation three high-end hotels located in prime locations in Da Nang City, strengthening its accommodation scale there with the decision to acquire Chu Hotel, expanding the operation of Taian Hotel, completing and officially putting into operation Taiyo Hotel and Apartment, while continuing to closely monitor the construction progress of Ellie Hotel, ensuring all details and schedules are on track as planned; Paris Levain bakery also recorded record revenue figures in 2023. Furthermore, the Taiyo Ticket office successfully built its brand, officially becoming a Tier 1 Agent for Vietjet and Vietnam Airlines.
Also during the ceremony, Mr. Pham Anh Tien – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taiyo Group sent congratulations on the achievements attained by member companies over the past year, while expressing support for the policies and plans of the Board of Directors of Hai Long Construction JSC, G18 Construction Equipment JSC, and TaiyoTourist in developing for the 2024 phase. With practical and noteworthy "speaking" figures, Taiyo Group appreciates the dedication and highly values the efforts of member companies along with the effective support of all staff.
With outstanding business growth, the Group's Board of Directors read the decision to reward, congratulate, and commend the achievements of advanced and excellent collectives and individuals in 2023. This is a gift to encourage morale and fuel work for the following year for the staff.
The honored excellent individuals and collectives are all typical examples of the constant efforts and endeavors over the past time. The ceremony is also a clear testament to the recognition of Taiyo Group for its staff, creating motivation for everyone to strive together, and will continue to promote responsibility, qualities, and capabilities even better to complete development goals and conquer brilliant successes in 2024.
Also during the summary, satisfied with the projects Hai Long Construction has completed for partners, Leadjet Investment JSC, an important partner of Hai Long Construction, donated 250 million VND to the construction site engineers of Hai Long Construction to express gratitude for the contributions of the staff over the past year. Along with that, Mr. Henry & the Project Department also donated 150 million VND to the Hai Long Steel Structure factory for excellently completing the 2023 mission.
The results achieved in 2023 in a context full of difficulties and challenges are proof of the great efforts of the leadership team and staff of Taiyo Group, affirming solid steps in the new year 2024.
