Meeting all international technical standards, Hai Long Steel Structure has officially implemented an export order for steel components to the Senegal market (West Africa). The project is a milestone marking the presence of the Hai Long Steel Structure brand at one of the energy infrastructure projects in the West African region.
On April 21, 2026, the international magazine LNG Industry confirmed: Gas Entec Co., Ltd (South Korea) signed to implement the Dakar LNG Terminal – the first and largest LNG import facility in West Africa.
This facility provides natural gas for the 300MW combined-cycle power plant at Cap des Biches – the largest power plant in Senegal – directly contributing to ensuring energy security and promoting the nation's industrialization.
Entering the LNG Elton project in Senegal, Hai Long Steel Structure has officially opened the door to the heavy industrial steel structure export market. This is a major challenge with high technical requirements and a tight schedule to put the terminal into operation in the first half of 2027.
Success in receiving this key export order is not accidental. It is a direct result of the long-term and consistent investment strategy in an automated production system – a direction that Hai Long has steadfastly pursued. This technology foundation helps Hai Long optimize all three factors that partners demand simultaneously: quality – schedule – cost.
