On the afternoon of October 1, 2021, the Contract Signing Ceremony for the production and erection of steel structures between Hai Long Construction JSC and Hwico JSC (South Korea) took place. Due to the complex COVID-19 pandemic situation, the ceremony was held online with the full participation of leadership representatives from both companies. Although conducted online, the ceremony was solemn and serious, demonstrating the spirit of cooperation and the determination of both parties to successfully execute this contract, as well as laying the foundation for future collaboration.

This is a highly significant contract, not only due to its large value and volume but also for its role in stabilizing employment and increasing income for workers, demonstrating the true capacity and brand of Hai Long Steel Structure in the market. To achieve this, we have persistently built and maintained the Hai Long steel structure brand for over 20 years, using quality, schedule, and prestige as our operating motto to ensure the highest satisfaction for our customers. For this project, although the total duration from signing is 7 months, the reliance on imported raw materials meant 2 months were required just for procurement. This left only 5 months for both production and erection. Despite the extremely tight schedule, Hai Long remains committed to meeting the deadline through measures such as increasing manpower and optimizing production and erection layouts. Even in mid-September 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its most intense, the Board of Directors decided to invest in a series of modern machinery to improve productivity, product quality, and cost-efficiency, while improving the working environment for employees, such as: automatic welding lines, 9000mm hydraulic shearing machines with automatic feeding, CNC drilling and cutting systems, and heavy-duty cranes for erection work, etc.
With this contract, in the first three quarters of the year alone, Hai Long Construction JSC has excellently completed and exceeded the business plan for the entire year of 2021. The total value of signed contracts reached 1,550 billion VND out of the 1,250 billion VND target. This is an outstanding achievement by the Board of General Directors and all Hai Long staff during a period of extreme difficulty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. At the Q3/2021 business review meeting, Mr. Pham Anh Tien – Chairman of Taiyo Group presented flowers to Mr. Pham Tien Dung – General Director of Hai Long Construction JSC, offering congratulations and commending the continuous efforts of Hai Long Construction JSC, which continues to be a leading entity within the Group.
2021 can be considered a year of crisis for the global economy in general and the Vietnamese economy in particular; however, for Hai Long Construction JSC, it continues to be a year marking strong growth and internal strength as the Hai Long brand is increasingly affirmed through many large projects. This will be a milestone confirming the brand value of Hai Long Construction.
