On June 20, 2024, Hai Long Construction JSC and Weldcom Industry JSC signed a contract to install a smart steel structure production line at Hai Long Steel Structure Factory No. 3.
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Hai Long Construction JSC were (Mr.) Pham Anh Tien – Chairman of Taiyo Group; (Mr.) Pham Tien Dung – General Director. On behalf of Weldcom Industry JSC were (Mr.) Ho Hong Thien – Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director; (Ms.) Ho Thi Nga – Deputy General Director. The signing ceremony took place solemnly under the witness of representatives of the leadership of both enterprises.
According to the cooperation agreement, Weldcom will supply and install the Smart Line and Auto Line for Hai Long Steel Structure Factory No. 3, producing steel structures using the most advanced technology available today. The line includes highly automated systems, helping to optimize the production process, increase productivity and product quality, while saving costs and labor. The factory will be invested in and synchronized with modern equipment and a smart management system, with an expected maximum capacity of up to 45,000 tons/year.
With this strategic partnership, Hai Long and Weldcom share the following goals:
- Enhance steel structure production capacity, determined to make Hai Long Steel Structure a leading entity in the field of steel structures in Vietnam and the region.
- Hai Long Steel Structure will aim to export to markets requiring high quality such as Japan, South Korea, etc., with heavy industrial steel structure products.
At the signing ceremony, both sides shared experiences, visions, and future development strategies. Chairman Pham Anh Tien affirmed the importance of cooperating with Weldcom, and shared that during the cooperation process with Weldcom, they will continue to integrate and apply automation to optimize the steel structure production stage, with the goal of improving product quality and reducing costs.
Weldcom General Director – (Mr.) Ho Hong Thien committed to always prioritizing resources to coordinate with Hai Long in the process of updating, improving & upgrading the line to help increase output and optimize costs; fulfilling service requirements according to standards to ensure production progress and work efficiency. Both sides will promote communication and transaction efficiency on a mutually beneficial platform.
Hai Long Steel Structure Factory No. 3 is the next milestone on the development journey following the direction and long-term vision that Hai Long Construction has chosen for Steel Structure Factory No. 1 & No. 2 – to become a general contractor for industrial construction, in which the design, fabrication, and erection of steel structures is a key capability.
After completion and operation, Hai Long's steel structure production capacity will increase significantly, meeting the diverse and increasingly high demands of customers for quality and progress, contributing to improving the working environment and attracting FDI capital into Hai Phong in particular and Vietnam in general, creating more job opportunities and providing a basis for stability for workers, contributing to social security, the development of the city, the country, and continuing to step-by-step complete the strategic, long-term goals that the Company and the Group have set out.
