HAI LONG CONSTRUCTION COMPLETES THE FIRST 750 TONS OF STEEL STRUCTURE FOR THE LG INNOTEK PROJECT

Immediately after signing the contract to supply 14,500 tons of steel structure for the LG Innotek project, Hai Long Construction urgently deployed the import of raw materials and planned each stage of the production process, while assigning tasks to relevant departments.To ensure the success of the large-scale project, Hai Long Construction began implementing the plan from early September 2023 with high determination and focus. We urgently arranged production at two key factories, including Truong Thanh Factory and Quoc Tuan Factory. At the same time, work was specifically assigned to key departments such as quality control, human resources, investment in new machinery and technological equipment, as well as production site management.Accordingly, Hai Long Construction has completed 750 tons of steel structure and transported them to the project, ensuring timely construction progress. Specifically, on October 2, the first shipment of 100 tons was exported, and the second batch from October 7 – 22 will export a total volume of 650 tons.

The LG Innotek project requires a total volume of steel structure of up to more than 14,500 tons and a completion time within 4 months, requiring speed and timeliness while still ensuring accuracy in the production process. The description of the steel structure in the LG Innotek Project is impressive and challenging. Large components, especially columns, have a weight of up to 16 tons each. The main material is steel plate with high thickness, with plate thickness up to 88 mm. The volume of plates with thickness from 50 mm to 88 mm accounts for 60% of the total volume, creating a major challenge in the production process.

To ensure the production of high-quality steel structures with large volumes and meet the strict requirements of the project, Hai Long Construction JSC has invested specifically in production equipment. Specifically, a large beam flange straightening machine with the ability to straighten flanges up to 80mm thick, ensuring that components are manufactured with high precision and comply with strict technical requirements when producing heavy columns. The 30 KW Laser cutting machine with the ability to cut steel plates quickly and with high quality up to 80mm thickness, helps create precise and aesthetically pleasing parts. The efficiency of this Laser cutting machine also contributes to saving production time, helping to ensure the project schedule. The high-capacity Tamden source welding portal machine with new technology allows for doubling the speed compared to traditional portal welding products. The machine can burn 2 wires simultaneously on the same weld line with two separate arc sources, so the weld filling capacity is doubled.
