On January 18, 2024, at the announcement ceremony of the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam (VNR500) in 2023 held at GEM CENTER, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Long Construction JSC was officially honored in the VNR500 ranking.
The VNR500 ranking uses an objective, transparent, and scientific methodology based on the Fortune 500 evaluation model – the list of the 500 largest enterprises in the United States. Enterprises in VNR500 are evaluated comprehensively based on various criteria such as: Revenue, Profit, Assets, Growth Rate, Labor Scale, Media Reputation, etc., with Revenue being the most important factor.
The enterprises honored in the “Top 500 Largest Private Enterprises in Vietnam in 2023” are large-scale businesses that achieved notable business results in the 2022 fiscal year. Accordingly, in 2022, Hai Long Construction excellently achieved a revenue of 1,350 billion VND; contract value reached 2,618 billion VND and successfully produced 15,000 tons of steel structure for many major projects.
In 2023, Hai Long Construction was not immune to the general difficulties caused by economic fluctuations. However, thanks to a methodical, decisive strategy and thorough preparation, Hai Long Construction spectacularly “turned the tide” and maintained strong growth. Ending the 2023 fiscal year, Hai Long Construction achieved a revenue of 2,650 billion VND, reaching 160% of the set plan. At the same time, Hai Long Construction also continued to pursue its “ambitious” goal of becoming a leading General Contractor for Construction and Steel Structure by commencing the construction of Steel Structure Factory No. 3, increasing the total steel structure output to 40,000 tons/year; in parallel with investing in a series of construction machinery and equipment and upgrading management systems and human training.
Established in 1999, after 25 years of operation and development, Hai Long Construction has been affirming itself as a prominent enterprise in the field of General Construction Contracting; Design Consulting; and Steel Structure Manufacturing and Erection through the successful execution of hundreds of projects for leading partners such as Gaw Capital, LG Group, Samsung Group, Amkor Technology Group, Hyundai Group, Sumitomo Group, Vinfast Auto Manufacturing Company, … and key national projects.
Being officially honored in the VNR500 ranking proves the continuous development capability and positive contribution to the economy of Hai Long Construction. Being honored in VNR500 is not just an award, but also an important step in the journey of outstanding development after 25 years, opening up new opportunities and affirming the position of Hai Long Construction in the construction industry.
