The year 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment and development of Hai Long Construction JSC (02/11/1999-02/11/2024). Hai Long has been continuously developing to become a major industrial general contractor in Vietnam.
Success creates the brand
Established in 1999, starting from a small metal roofing and purlin workshop, after 25 years of operation and development, Hai Long Construction JSC has affirmed itself as a prominent enterprise in the fields of General Construction Contracting, Design Consulting, and Steel Structure Manufacturing and Erection.
Since its inception, the total revenue of Hai Long Construction has reached over 13.159 trillion VND with more than 300 projects successfully implemented. The company has also established cooperative relationships with over 100 domestic and foreign partners, contributing to the expansion of its business network.
Hai Long Construction is proud to own three steel structure manufacturing factories with a total output of up to 45,000 tons/year. Among them, the Dai Thang Factory in Dai Thang Commune, Tien Lang District, Hai Phong City has a factory area of over 30,000 m2. The factory is set up across five main workshops with 6 production lines and two paint shops, modern according to the first smart automatic production line system (Smartline) in Vietnam.
With the goal of developing and enhancing production capacity, and expanding steel structure products to the international market, Hai Long Construction officially established a representative office in South Korea in May 2024.
According to Mr. Pham Minh Hoang, Chief Representative of the Hai Long Construction Representative Office in South Korea: “Recently, the company signed a contract to export nearly 8,000 tons of steel structures for Hanwha Ocean; this is a core shipbuilding company of Hanwha Group, the 7th largest economic group in South Korea, ranked 306th in the top 500 global corporations voted by Forbes magazine. Additionally, Hai Long Construction is executing a contract with OCI: 1,200 tons of steel structures exported to Malaysia, and a contract with BHI for 800 tons exported to South Korea”.
With 25 years of operation, Hai Long Construction has always affirmed the capacity of a leading general contractor through the recognition and evaluation of domestic partners, as well as many major partners from Japan, South Korea, and China. The company has had the opportunity to implement many large projects with “eagle” Investors from South Korea such as: LG Innotek Project (Manufacturing 14,500 tons of steel structures), LG Display Project (Manufacturing 9,300 tons of steel structures), Amkor Technology Project (Manufacturing 4,500 tons of steel structures).
Besides that, there are hundreds of “million-dollar” projects for leading partners such as: GNP Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Center Project & GNP Dong Van III Industrial Center Project with each contract package value exceeding 700 billion VND (Gaw Capital investment fund); Bujeon Electronics Vietnam Factory Project; Vinfast Automobile Manufacturing Company; Sumitomo Group, etc., which are also evidence and recognition of the production capacity of partners with Hai Long Construction.
Constantly consolidating and developing strong internal resources, step by step affirming its position as one of the prominent enterprises in the field of industrial general contracting; Hai Long Construction has been honored in the Top 10 Reputable Industrial – Infrastructure Construction Contractors in 2024 by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company. At the announcement ceremony of the Top 500 Largest Private Enterprises in Vietnam (VNR500) in 2023 held in January 2024, Hai Long Construction JSC was honored in the VNR500 ranking.
