On May 10, 2024, the project management board organized the “Emulation Launch Ceremony for the U.D.Electronic Vietnam Factory Project,” signing a commitment to progress, construction quality, and occupational safety, in response to the 25th anniversary celebration of Hai Long Construction JSC.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Khau Gia Huan – Project Director. Representing Hai Long Construction were Mr. Pham Trung Lanh – Deputy General Director – Project Management Board Director; Mr. Do Thanh Hung – Deputy Project Director; Heads/Deputy Heads of departments, and site managers, team leaders, and technical supervisors of the project site.
The U.D.Electronic Vietnam Factory project is built on a land area of nearly 6 hectares at Thai Ha Industrial Park, Phase I, Ha Nam province, including 2 factory buildings and 1 office building. Construction began in late March 2024 with an expected construction duration of 6 months. This is the 3rd project that Hai Long Construction has executed at Thai Ha Industrial Park, following the TSMT Vietnam Factory project and the Chiateng Vietnam Factory project.
Given the scale and importance of the project, the Company's Board of Directors decided to select the U.D.Electronic Vietnam Factory project as a key project to celebrate the Company's 25th anniversary. To ensure the project is completed according to the direction and commitment to the investor, the Board of Directors of Hai Long Construction JSC has launched an emulation movement among all employees, the project management board, and the supervision consultants working on the project, striving to complete and hand over the project in August 2024.
The project management board directs the construction teams directly on-site to continue their efforts in completing their tasks. Speaking at the ceremony, (Mr.) Pham Trung Lanh – Deputy General Director – Project Management Board Director requested: “We only have 5 months left to execute the project according to the plan; the entire construction site must strive to ensure progress, quality, safety, absolute safety, and cost-efficiency. In my capacity as the Project Management Board Director, I and all my colleagues commit to striving to complete and bring the project to a successful finish.”

At the ceremony, (Mr.) Do Thanh Hung – Deputy Project Director gave highly directional remarks: “It is a great honor that the U.D.Electronic Vietnam project was chosen by the leadership as a key project to launch the emulation program in response to the company's 25th anniversary. Besides that, we must acknowledge that there will be pressure on all of us, from the project management board to the construction teams and all the brothers and sisters participating in this project. Our responsibility is to try and strive to turn pressure into motivation to bring the project to a successful finish, ensuring quality, progress, and especially occupational safety. I still remember a very clear instruction from Chairman Pham Anh Tien: The project is only allowed to succeed, not allowed to fail, and we will together fulfill this instruction well. Personally, I will strive and cooperate with my colleagues to achieve our common goal.”

For a project to be successful, many important factors are needed, requiring the combination of the office, construction site, and factory. The office block acts as the “brain” of the project, responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, and controlling the project as a whole. Representatives of the office block have made specific commitments corresponding to practical actions of each department participating in the project:
- (Mr.) Tran Ngoc Ba – representative of the office block committed “To always be honest, objective, and impartial to ensure quality for the project; Regarding coordination with subcontractors (doors, fire protection, and other related tasks), ensure the selection of reputable contractors meeting the investor's requirements; In terms of documentation, commit to providing sufficient and balanced cash flow to meet the investor's needs.”
- As a department playing a key role in ensuring the success of a project, (Mr.) Do Duc Thuan – Head of Materials and Equipment Department committed: “Always provide materials fully at the right time and on schedule for the project; Manage and provide machinery and equipment, putting Occupational Safety as the top priority”
- The Security and Safety Board plays an important role in ensuring occupational safety on the construction site. Accordingly, (Mr.) Trinh Huy Thinh – Head of Security and Safety Board committed: “Coordinate with the project management board and all construction teams on-site to arrange and supervise construction work regarding Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and environmental sanitation; With a permanent safety team on-site, commit to ensuring absolute OSH for the project, preventing any occupational accidents; Call on everyone to share the responsibility of ensuring occupational safety at the construction site.”
- The Site Managers of the construction teams on-site – (Mr.) Trinh Dinh Hung, (Mr.) Nguyen Van Thiet, and (Mr.) Vu Van Thin – made specific commitments, using their responsibility and leadership capabilities to work with the construction block to execute the project successfully.

Within the framework of the ceremony, representatives of the office block and the construction block signed an emulation covenant, committing to execute construction while ensuring progress, occupational safety, and environmental sanitation at the project site. The emulation covenant was signed with a high sense of responsibility, demonstrating the determination of all departments involved to successfully execute the U.D.Electronic Vietnam Factory project. Each individual is aware of their role and responsibility and commits to doing their best to complete the assigned tasks well.

(Mr.) Vu Van Thin – Site Manager of Construction Team No. 2 signs the commitment to complete the project safely, with quality, and on schedule
