Investment partners

South Korea continues to play a major role in forming electronics and high-tech industrial clusters in the North.
Insights from the consulting firm
Mr. John Campbell, Director, Head of Industrial Services at Savills Vietnam, believes that the North is forming a manufacturing ecosystem consisting of three components: industrial infrastructure, a technical workforce, and a supplier network.
According to him, investors tend to choose localities that already have large electronics corporations to leverage the existing supply network. He calls this the “multiplier effect”.
Mr. Campbell forecasts that electronics and semiconductors will continue to be the main drivers of the industrial real estate market in the coming years.
