Samsung Electronics Vietnam Factory

With a total investment of approximately 1.5 billion USD, the factory focuses on testing traditional DRAM and NAND memory chips to address the ongoing supply shortage, as most global memory chip production capacity is being diverted by industry giants toward AI chips.

Expected to commence operations by the end of 2027, this is considered a pioneering step as the group plans to reinvest profits to build a second factory with a scale of up to 2.5 billion USD — positioning Vietnam as one of the key semiconductor testing hubs in Samsung's global supply chain.
